Anyone wanting a party mix can find my spotify play list below. This is a collection of music added by friends that have attended my parties in the past. This music is not what I listen to when I work, but I’ve been asked for the playlist so here it is. Enjoy!

Music for work

As promised, here is an un-organized collection of things I listen to as I work in no particular order. I have no particular taste, but like to listen to music that inspires visions. For this reason there isn’t much pop music in my work collection 🙂

Not only is the playing out of this world, but the visuals are amazing also. Bringing the notes into graphic existence as a visual person this if overwheling for me. I can’t stop watching whitch can sometimes be a problem. Congratulations to Rousseau

I have four Zed Zeppelin albums on old school CD’s which I bought recently from Oxfam. This kind of music should not be interupted by adverts. I’ve lost count of how many times i’ve listened to the albums. Jimmy Page, John Bonham, John Paul Jones and Robert Plant, what a force of nature.

Estas Tonne plays like he is possessed. I first saw him in a clip playing in the streets of some City. I hope to see him in concert one day.

Some of the best guitar you will ever hear.

The movie Amelie turned me on to Yann Tiersen. I’ve listened to his music ever since. I have the album on CD thanks to a good friend.

There is something about Einaudi Ludovico’s work that is so powerful.

Its probably due to my Father that I love Ennio Morricone. My Father loved watching spaghetti western movies. When he was watching the TV me and my Brothers would watch too. This music brings back some deep memories just being in the same room as my Father. Cherished time. How I’d love to have one more moment with him.

Bladerunner is possibly my all time favourite movie. I even wrote about it in my final dissertation at University. The music creates visions of the future for me. The end speach in the movie is one of the most powerful monologues in movie history.

Anything by the Ramones is amazing. Pure feeling. They couldn’t play or sing but they sounded fantastic. Their rule breaking carried across to art so well.

The pixies song from one of my favourite films, Fight club. I have to admit I didn’t get it the first time I watched it at the cinema. Genius!

Ed Sheerans’s cover of Bob Dylans, Masters of War. The lyrics are as relevant today as ever.

Sometimes I think I was born in the wrong era, or maybe I lived then in a former life and still have subconcious memories.
