Crypto Rembrandts NFT drop!

After many months of creating and researching I have finally launched my first NFT collection. The Crypto Rembrandts. Its been a long time in the making but I’m so happy with the result. We are living in exciting times and I feel like I’m part of a revolution in both the internet and crypto. NFT’s change everything for digital property ownership and I’m glad to be a part of it.
Each Crypto Rembrandt is created based on the sketches by Rembrandt himself. Digitally drawn by hand to look like the master’s work. Each piece is high-resolution in PNG format. Damien hirst launches “The Currency” NFT collection.

The renound artist, Damien Hirst, has bridged the boundary between Art and Crypto, to create The Currency. A collection of 10,000 art pieces with a twist. Anyone who is lucky enough to be chosen to purchase the art will have a choice to make. Will they take the physical art to hang on their wall, or will they choose the NFT to store in their Metamask crypto wallet?
“NFT is as important as the invention of paper” says Hirst, which is a huge statement, and one which I completely agree with. Having been a digital artist myself, I know there has never before been a way to protect digital art. In a way it is a revolution for the digital world. It will have impacts which we can not even begin to comprehend today.
The Currency is an interesting experiment like all of Hirst’s art. He pushes the bundaries of what art is. What is the meaning of art? This project also asks the question, what is the value of art? It will be interesting to see how many people keep the real art compared to the NFT version. Hirst himself says it is a test of greed.
What is an NFT you may be asking. NFT stands for Non fungible token. It is a digital asset that is protected by Blockchain certification. NFT can apply to Music, art, film, memes etc. What differentiates NFT’s from other crypto assets is that each time the NFT is traded or sold, the artist gets a cut. It can be any amount set by the artist in the blockchain contract.
